The LSU307HV3 is a singlezone condenser and requires the LG LSN307HV3 air handler to operate. The LSU307HV3 is the outdoor unit only, indoor units are sold separately and are required to run this model. The LG LSU307HV3 is a condenser unit for a ductless split system air conditioning system. It features 30,000 BTU cooling and 32,000 BTU heating capacity and connects to the indoor air condenser through tiny, easy to install refrigerant lines and tubes. LG's ductless systems function much like a central air system, but without the hassle and unattractiveness of invasive ductwork. This system only requires a 3" opening in the wall or ceiling to get started. This LG air conditioning system uses electricity to transfer heat between the indoors and outdoors. Using a two way refrigerant vapor compression system, it takes heat from the outside and delivers it inside on a heating cycle and reverses it on the cooling. This model has an EER rating of 10 and a SEER rating of 18, making it a truly energy efficient option.
